حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ {وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤْيَا الَّتِي أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلاَّ فِتْنَةً لِلنَّاسِ} قَالَ هِيَ رُؤْيَا عَيْنٍ أُرِيَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ {وَالشَّجَرَةَ الْمَلْعُونَةَ} شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ.
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
Regarding: 'And We granted the vision (Ascension to the Heaven "Miraj") which We showed you (O Muhammad as an actual eye witness) but as a trial for mankind.' (17.60) It was an actual eyewitness which was shown to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) during the night he was taken on a journey (through the heavens). And the cursed tree is the tree of Az-Zaqqum (a bitter pungent tree which grows at the bottom of Hell).
ইব্নু ‘আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤْيَا الَّتِي أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلاَّ فِتْنَةً لِلنَّاسِ এ আয়াত সম্পর্কে বলেন, এ আয়াতে رُؤْيَا (স্বপ্নে দেখা নয়, বরং) চোখ দ্বারা সরাসরি দেখা বোঝানো হয়েছে, যা রসূলুল্লাহ্ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম)-কে মি‘রাজের রাতে সরাসরি দেখানো হয়েছিল। আর এখানে الشَّجَرَةَ الْمَلْعُونَةَ (অভিশপ্ত বৃক্ষ) বলতে ‘যাক্কুম’ বৃক্ষ বোঝানো হয়েছে। [৩৮৮৮] (আ.প্র. ৪৩৫৫, ই.ফা. ৪৩৫৭)
