حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ بْنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْعُتَقِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُنَيْنٍ، - مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ كُلاَلٍ - عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَقْرَأَهُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَجْدَةً فِي الْقُرْآنِ مِنْهَا ثَلاَثٌ فِي الْمُفَصَّلِ وَفِي سُورَةِ الْحَجِّ سَجْدَتَانِ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ سَجْدَةً وَإِسْنَادُهُ وَاهٍ .
Narrated Amr ibn al-'As:
The Prophet (ﷺ) taught me fifteen prostrations while reciting the Qur'an, including three in al-Mufassal and two in Surah al-Hajj.
Abu Dawud said: Abu al-Darda' has reported eleven prostrations from the Prophet (ﷺ), but chain of this tradition is weak.
عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو قرآن مجید میں ( ۱۵ ) سجدے ۱؎ پڑھائے : ان میں سے تین مفصل میں ۲؎ اور دو سورۃ الحج میں ۳؎ ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں : ابوالدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے گیارہ سجدے نقل کئے ہیں ، لیکن اس کی سند کمزور ہے ۔
Narrated Amr ibn al-'As:

عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا : اللہ کے رسول ! کیا سورۃ الحج میں دو سجدے ہیں ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” ہاں اور جو یہ دونوں سجدے نہ کرے وہ انہیں نہ پڑھے “ ۔
Narrated Uqbah ibn Amir:
I said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): Are there two prostrations in Surah al-Hajj? He replied: Yes; if anyone does not make two prostrations, he should not recite them.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited Surah al-Najm and prostrated himself. No one remained there who did not prostrate (along with him). A man from the people took a handful of pebbles or dust and raised it to his face saying: This is enough for me. 'Abd Allah (b. Mas'ud) said: I later saw him killed as an infidel.
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سورۃ النجم پڑھی اور اس میں سجدہ کیا اور لوگوں میں سے کوئی بھی ایسا نہ رہا جس نے سجدہ نہ کیا ہو ، البتہ ایک شخص نے تھوڑی سی ریت یا مٹی مٹھی میں لی اور اسے اپنے منہ ( یعنی پیشانی ) تک اٹھایا اور کہنے لگا : میرے لیے اتنا ہی کافی ہے ۔ عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں : میں نے اس کے بعد اسے دیکھا کہ وہ حالت کفر میں قتل کیا گیا ۔
Narrated 'Abd Allah (b. Mas'ud):
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited Surah al-Najm and prostrated himself. No one remained there who did not prostrate (along with him). ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں
ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سورۃ «إذا السماء انشقت» اور « اقرأ باسم ربك الذي خلق» میں سجدہ کیا ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں : ابوہریرہ چھ ہجری میں غزوہ خیبر کے سال اسلام لائے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے یہ سجدے آپ کے آخری فعل ہیں ۔

ابورافع نفیع الصائغ بصریٰ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ عشاء پڑھی ، آپ نے «إذا السماء انشقت» کی تلاوت کی اور سجدہ کیا ، میں نے کہا : یہ سجدہ کیسا ہے ؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا : میں نے یہ سجدہ ابوالقاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے ( نماز پڑھتے ہوئے ) کیا ہے اور میں برابر اسے کرتا رہوں گا یہاں تک کہ آپ سے جا ملوں ۔
Narrated Abu Rafi':

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سورۃ ” ص “ پڑھی ، آپ منبر پر تھے جب سجدہ کے مقام پر پہنچے تو اترے ، سجدہ کیا ، لوگوں نے بھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سجدہ کیا ، پھر ایک دن کی بات ہے کہ آپ نے اس سورۃ کی تلاوت کی ، جب سجدہ کے مقام پر پہنچے تو لوگ سجدے کے لیے تیار ہو گئے ، اس پر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” یہ سجدہ دراصل ایک نبی ۱؎ کی توبہ تھی ، لیکن میں دیکھ رہا ہوں کہ تم لوگ سجدے کے لیے تیار ہو رہے ہو “ ، چنانچہ آپ اترے ، سجدہ کیا ، لوگوں نے بھی سجدہ کیا ۔
Narrated Sa'id al-Khudri:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited surah Sad on the pulpit. When he reached the place of prostration (in the surah), he descended and prostrated himself and the people prostrated with him. Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
In the year of Conquest the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited a verse at which a prostration should be made and all the people prostrated themselves. Some were mounted, and some were prostrating themselves on the ground, and those who were mounted prostrated themselves on their hands.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would recite to us a surah (according to the version of Ibn Numair) outside the prayer (the agreed version goes), then he would prostrate along with him, and none of us could find a place for his forehead.
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمیں سورۃ پڑھ کر سناتے ( ابن نمیر کی روایت میں ہے ) ” نماز کے علاوہ میں “ ( آگے یحییٰ بن سعید اور ابن نمیر سیاق حدیث میں متفق ہیں ) ، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( سجدہ کی آیت آنے پر ) سجدہ کرتے ، ہم بھی آپ کے ساتھ سجدہ کرتے یہاں تک کہ ہم میں سے بعض کو اپنی پیشانی رکھنے کی جگہ نہ مل پاتی ۱؎ ۔
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

The narrator 'Abd al-Razzaq said: Al-Thawri liked this tradition very much.
Abu Dawud said: This was liked by him for this contains the uttering of takbir.
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہم کو قرآن سناتے ، جب کسی سجدے کی آیت سے گزرتے تو ” الله أكبر “ کہتے اور سجدہ کرتے اور آپ کے ساتھ ہم بھی سجدہ کرتے ۔ عبدالرزاق کہتے ہیں : یہ حدیث ثوری کو اچھی لگتی تھی ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں : انہیں یہ اس لیے پسند تھی کہ اس میں ” الله أكبر “ کا ذکر ہے ۔

" سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ بِحَوْلِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ " .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رات میں قرآن کے سجدوں میں کئی بار «سجد وجهي للذي خلقه وشق سمعه وبصره بحوله وقوته» یعنی ” میرے چہرے نے اس ذات کو سجدہ کیا جس نے اپنی قوت و طاقت سے اسے پیدا کیا اور اس کے کان اور آنکھ بنائے “ کہتے تھے ۔
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prostrated himself at night when reciting the Qur'an. He said repeatedly: My face prostrates itself to Him Who created it and brought forth its hearing and seeing by His might and power.
When we came to Medina accompanying the caravan, I used to preach after the dawn prayer, and prostrate on account of the recitation of the Qur'an. Ibn Umar prohibited me three times, but I did not cease doing that. He then repeated (his prohibition) saying: I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), AbuBakr, Umar and Uthman, they would not prostrate (on account of the recitation of the Qur'an) till the sun had risen.
ابوتمیمہ طریف بن مجالد ہجیمی کہتے ہیں کہ
جب ہم قافلہ کے ساتھ مدینہ آئے تو میں فجر کے بعد وعظ کہا کرتا تھا ، اور ( سجدہ کی آیت پڑھنے کے بعد ) سجدہ کرتا تھا تو مجھے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس سے تین مرتبہ منع کیا ، لیکن میں باز نہیں آیا ، آپ نے پھر کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ، ابوبکر ، عمر اور عثمان رضی اللہ عنہم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی لیکن کسی نے سجدہ نہیں کیا یہاں تک کہ سورج نکل آیا ۔
